2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition Review, Specs, Photo. - Meanwhile some rumors told that 2014 Nissan GT-R release date will be in late this year. The new Nissan GT-R Track Edition will go on sale in May 2013. It will be limited to only 150 units. The Track Edition comes in at $115,710, which does not include the $1,000 destination and handling charge. We promise that we will update soon after Nissan announces 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition price.

The new Nissan GT-R Track Edition, which made its U.S. debut at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, is the third and most exclusive model in the 2014 GT-R lineup. Designed to take Nissan's legendary 545-horsepower street supercar even closer to a pure motorsports competition machine, it features a specially tuned suspension, special brake cooling guides, front spoiler with carbon fiber air ducts and a lightweight quilted cloth mat where the rear seats usually reside. It is set to go on sale at select GT-R certified Nissan dealerships nationwide beginning in May 2013. Production will be limited to 150 cars for the U.S. market.

Said Pierre Loing, Vice President, Product and Advanced Planning and Strategy, Nissan Americas: "The concept behind the GT-R Track Edition is to enable drivers who enjoy even more demanding high-performance driving than the GT-R Premium and Black Edition models' extreme performance, the chance to come closer to a competition spec vehicle - no back seat, stiffer suspension, higher grip seats, additional brake cooling - the works."

Nissan continues to refine and improve its GT-R monster, most recently introducing suspension and engine tweaks with no increases in total output—for 2014, and now it is giving Americans a taste of a special Track Edition that’s previously been offered elsewhere around the globe. Even though the name slightly differs from the Track Pack cars sold overseas, the 2014 GT-R Track Edition is conceptually the same and includes a host of upgrades geared toward owners intent on taking their GT-R to the track.

Powertrain
Motivation is provided by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that develops 545 hp (406 kW) and 463 lb-ft (627 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed dual clutch transmission that changes gears in just 0.15 seconds.

As with the rest of the 2014 GT-R lineup, the Track Edition’s twin-turbocharged V-6 engine makes the same 545 horsepower as last year’s GT-R. While we’ve enjoyed watching (and experiencing) the GT-R’s output figures rise incrementally over the years, 545 ponies strapped to the GT-R’s all-wheel-drive gear and six-speed dual-clutch automatic hardly is a recipe for sloth. Mix in a sharper chassis tune and even the relatively negligible weight reduction that the deletion of the rear seat affords, and we’re betting this GT-R is going to be one helluva ride.

Performance-wise, the Track Edition inherits a new front spoiler with built-in carbon-fiber air ducts and brake-cooling channels, and the suspension is further honed for the track. Higher spring rates and special Bilstein shocks are fitted to all four corners, which also get the same metallic-black-painted Rays forged-aluminum wheels as the GT-R Black Edition. A sweet-looking carbon-fiber rear spoiler (also shared with the Black Edition) hangs off the rear deck, and Nissan claims the piece’s increased stiffness improves rear downforce. Sure.

2014 Nissan Versa Review, Specs, Photo. - Meanwhile some rumors told that 2014 Nissan Versa release date will be in late this year. You can get in touch with certified traders of the Nissan to discover out more about the 2014 Nissan Versa price. There is no purpose why you should be eventually missed when it comes to the high-class and relaxation that comes with Nissan vehicles. This car is made in a way that they will provide you even more than you predicted. We promise that we will update soon after Nissan announces 2014 Nissan Versa release date.

Exterior
Picture an economy car in your mind, and you’ll likely visualize something akin to the 2014 Nissan Versa. This budget sedan has conservative looks, with few elements that stand out. Among those that do are its wide and shapely grille and the rear spoiler that helps spruce up the look of models equipped with the CVT automatic transmission. Higher-trim SV and SL models are distinguished by chrome highlights. Wheels are 15- or 16-inch, and steel or aluminum-alloy, depending on the trim and option package.

Interior
The front seats are fine for short hops, but comfort wanes on longer drives. Taller drivers might find it hard to achieve a comfortable position due to the lack of a telescoping steering wheel. The quality of the interior materials is low, even for the subcompact segment, but gauges and controls are at least well placed and intuitive. The availability of desirable features such as keyless ignition/entry and a rearview camera is a nice touch for a car with a sub-$20,000 sticker price.

Features and Safety
Safety on 2014 Nissan Versa comes from six standard airbags, tire pressure monitoring, anti-lock brakes with panic assist, front seat belt pretensioners, side impact beams in all doors and electronic stability/traction control.

Powertrain :
The front-wheel-drive 2014 Nissan Versa is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder that produces 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual transmission is standard on the S, and a four-speed automatic is optional. A CVT is standard on all other Versas.

Engine
Both the Note and the sedan are based on the same new B-segment architecture that's fresher but designed to remain more compact that the outgoing Versa's underpinnings. There's not a lot to grab headlines – the 1.6-liter, 109 horsepower, 107 lb-ft. of torque four-cylinder makes use of continuously variable valve timing to net 31/40 mpg with the optional CVT. Base Versa Notes will include a five-speed manual gearbox.

Helping to achieve such numbers are improvements in aerodynamics, which now yield a 0.298 drag coefficient, which the brand is quick to say is lower than many sports cars. Such tricks like a radically swept-back windshield, shorter overhangs, Nissan’s first active grille shutters and under-body deflectors all play a part in cheating the effects of wind on fuel consumption.

Inside, the cabin is relatively frill-free - and in this case that’s good. Simplified controls and buttons adorn the hard-plastic dashboard, with the most complications coming from how to set the clock on the optional navigation screen’s 5.8-inch display monitor. One feature that is usually found in higher line vehicles that still managed to find its way into the Note is the pushbutton starter.

Drive time
The Versa Note’s 1.6-liter proved stout at slow speeds but still required extra effort to get into the groove. Although this is the world’s first CVT with a sub-planetary gear, the engine managed to get past the rather tall gearing (in place for increased fuel economy) but not without letting us know it was working its behind off to do so.

In the twisties, we did feel a touch of torque steer present itself, which means you might need to keep both hands on the wheels. But with such limited power on tap, the Versa Note is easy to control.

The ride was smooth but softly sprung, which allowed it to absorb the rough roads found around fiscally-challenged Southern California. Credit the simple MacPherson strut/torsion beam suspension setup. On the other hand, we were pleasantly surprised by the relatively quiet ride that came (or didn’t come) from the Note. Thanks to countermeasures including double-sealed doors, acoustic windshields and Thinsulate material throughout, the overall package managed to keep the interior relatively quiet.

2014 Nissan Versa Note base price $13,990.

2013 Tesla Model S Review, Specs, Photo1

2013 Tesla Model S Review, Specs, Photo. - The dim outline of Santa Rosa Island is just barely visible on the horizon as we peer south across the Pacific Ocean toward Channel Islands National Park off the coast of Southern California. We're 120 miles from home base and our 2012 Tesla Model S sits quiet in a roadside turnout on the Pacific Coast Highway. But this pure electric luxury sedan isn't stranded with its battery perilously low on juice. No, we came to this remote stretch of unspoiled coastline on purpose, taking advantage of a lull in our schedule to go for a drive for the pure enjoyment of it.

2013 Tesla Model S Price :
For 2013, the various Model S versions are priced from $57,400 to $87,400 before incentives and options. Top end models can touch $100,000, though of course the running costs of grid electricity are just a fraction of the gasoline used by competing luxury sedans. The Tesla Model S qualifies for a $7,500 Federal income-tax credit, along with a wide array of state, local, and corporate incentives including, in California, single occupant access to the carpool lane on the state's crowded freeways.

2013 Tesla Model S Review, Specs, Photo2

Interior & Exterior :
The standard motor is a 270 kilowatt (362 hp) unit that powers the rear wheels. The more powerful Model S Performance version upgrades to a 301 kW (416 hp) motor, letting it rocket from 0 to 60 mph in less than 5 seconds. Standard versions reach that speed in 6 to 7 seconds. The Tesla Model S handles and holds the road like a sports car, due to a center of gravity that's lower than any other sedan. It rides firmly over pavement imperfections you'll know it's not a soft luxury sedan that floats over anything on the road but the air suspension keeps the ride remarkably good over bigger bumps, lumps, and even the deepest potholes and most uneven surfaces.

2013 Tesla Model S Review, Specs, Photo3

Performance :
With such large battery packs, fast recharging is a must. The Tesla specific charging station delivers power to one or two 10 kilowatt onboard chargers the second is optional on some models with the 20 kW charging about three times as fast as any other plug in car. Tesla is also rolling out its own, unique Supercharger network of fast chargers sited between city pairs. These will largely (but not completely) recharge a Model S pack in roughly half an hour. Stop and plug in, Tesla says, use the rest rooms, get a coffee, check your mobile device, and then you can be on your way with another 150 or 200 miles available. If the network can cover enough routes Tesla says it'll offer national coverage by the end of 2013 it will make intercity travel possible in a zero emission car for the first time ever. And as a bonus for Tesla drivers, the electricity provided by the Supercharger network is free.

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Review, Specs, Photo1

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Review, Specs, Photo. - It's been ten years since its last thorough makeover, but for 2013 the Land Rover Range Rover gets what is probably the most radical reinvention of its long and storied life. It's a change that stretches its street talents to sedan levels, even as its off roading capability ups several antes through the miracle of electronics.

It's all because of aluminum. The Range Rover's had aluminum body panels for a while, but now it's made of the stuff to its core and that means a roughly 700-pound weight loss, which permeates the way the Range Rover drives, and to a lesser extent, how much gas it consumes. Just as hurricane Sandy was ravaging America's east coast, a separate freak storm was lashing Morocco on the diagonally opposite African shores of the Atlantic Ocean with horizontal rains strong enough to provoke flash flooding and to wreak havoc on arid Morocco's coastal roadways. Such weather would surely spell disaster for most new vehicle launch programs, but it merely heightened the experience of our first drive in Land Rover's all new, all aluminum Range Rover.

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Review, Specs, Photo2

Interior and Exterior :
The 2013 Range Rover first looks long, but it's lithe for an SUV. The stance reads lower and the roof pillars seem slimmer, from the sideview, the Range Rover has some crosscurrents with the Ford Flex, which has been roundly pointed out as a blend of Fairlane and Range Rover cues since it was introduced back in 2009.

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Review, Specs, Photo3

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Performance :
Depending on speed and traction modes, the Range Rover can vary steering and ride settings, giving it strong on center feel with more programmed in centering weight, for example. It's not particularly linear, as a result, but it's a good solution for an SUV, as much for light parking lot effort as for effective highway tracking over a wide range of wheel and tire packages. In almost any circumstance, the Range Rover has mostly gentle ride motions and a substantial amount of body lean and ride softness purposely so, to avoid head toss of the kind we've seen in the competition. It's a languid, well damped feel that's more luxury sedan than ever. Large six piston front Brembo calipers, big front and rear disc brakes (15 and 14.4 inches in diameter) handle the Range Rover's curb weight of about 5300 pounds with ease.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Review, Specs, Photo1

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Review, Specs, Photo. - The New Beetle which preceded the current Beetle was loved by press and public alike at its introduction, and for many, the love affair continues, but in truth, neither the design nor the packaging forced on it by the architectural shape has held up over time.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle :
Starting MSRP $19,795–$28,130

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Review, Specs, Photo2

Exterior :
Volkswagen combined retro and modern design cues in styling the Beetle. While the front represents an evolution of the prior generation, which was sold in the U.S. from the 1998 to the 2010 model year, the rear half draws heavily on the original Beetle with its flattened roofline and C pillars that form an arc extending to the rear bumper. Those might seem like subtle changes, but they significantly change the car's appearance.

Interior :
Front bucket seats and a two person backseat provide room for up to four people. Folding the split backseat expands the 10.9 cubic foot cargo area. Interior features include :
    >. Available touch-screen CD stereo and navigation.
    >. Available Fender premium stereo.
    >. Available keyless access and push button start.

2013 Volkswagen Beetle Performance :
The base 170 horsepower, 2.5 liter five cylinder engine works with a five speed manual or six speed automatic transmission. The turbo 2.0 liter diesel four cylinder engine makes 140 hp while the performance oriented turbocharged 2.0 liter gas four cylinder makes 200 hp and works with a limited slip differential. Both the diesel and turbocharged gas engine team with a six speed manual or a six speed dual clutch automatic.
